The Brain Tumour Survivors Guide to Life – Gary, Marty and Me

The Gary, Marty and me podcast is dedicated to my many fellow brain tumour sufferers (or warriors as we sometimes call ourselves) and is intended to give those who are newly diagnosed an insight into the strange world that they have just entered. I look at what to expect before, during and after surgery and talk about benefits of positivity when in this process. Not every brain tumour story has a happy ending but many do so I hope to offer some light at the end of the tunnel and reasons to be cheerful.
By the way as to who are Gary and Marty? Gary is my new lifelong travelling companion Gary the Glioma (incurable but treatable) and Marty was a brain stem tumour (now removed) Marty the Meningioma.

Production Values

This is my new podcast devoted to my love of amateur theatre. This has been a big part of my life from a very young age and a world that I am only just returning to after having to step back to focus on my career. Now I am retired I have time to get involved again and thought it would be fun to document the process of staging a show whilst (as amateurs) we have to also get on with our real lives too. In this first series I will follow several productions from beginning to end starting with the Pelham Elliott Productions presentation of Noel Cowards ‘Relative Values’ from first production meeting through to closing night.
